Other big news. Kiersten was accepted to the UC San Deigo Medical Center Dietetics Internship! Also an incredible feat, which we are overwhelmingly happy about. This will make it possible for her to receive her certification as a full-fledged dietitian.
On other things of note, cheese has never tasted better, tap water is amazing, we baked cookies in an OVEN our first night back, a 10 1/2 hour plane trip is heaven when taken two days after a 16-hour standing (and laying down on the hard floor), crowded, smelly train trip, cereal is great, women shoes can be found in Kiersten sizes, milk can be found in skim, and Skip-bo is not the only game that exists. (Oh, and we are typing this post without the use of a proxy server!!!)
Isn't life great?

We want cookies baked in an oven! We're impressed with your guys' mad running skills! We might opt for a different way to get over jet lag.
Welcome back! After all the years I've known Kiersten I never knew she ran the Fontana Day half marathon. That's awesome! How long are you guys in Fontana before going down? I'll be coming down next month so we should get together if you're still there :)
Wow, you guys are crazy! I can't believe you did a half marathon/5K so soon after getting back. I hear ya on the tap water, cheese, and pretty much everything else you mentioned. Congrats Kiersten on getting a internship!
So, maybe if David went to China for a year he would like cheese! Hmmm...it might just be worth it! We're excited to see you soon! And David will be excited to play all sorts of games with you! And, of course, Lydia is just dying to meet all her aunts and uncles! You know Brittany will claim favorite aunt though because she's the only one who's seen Lydia so far. But Neil met her first!
