Baby girl #2 quilt finished!

I knew I wanted to make something special for this little girl and decided to tackle a quilt again.  I made sure to pick one that seemed simple-ish and straight forward since Abby's was super difficult. It still ended up being very time intensive but I really love how it turned out. 

I wanted to go with a different color scheme than pinks and girly colors. So I chose blues and yellows - cotton on one side and soft minky fabric on the back. The chevron pattern was inspired by my sister in law, Lindsay's beautiful quilt that she made for Danny, her newest little guy. I used this tutorial for the quilt.
