We live in a tiny one bedroom apartment (which we love - mostly) so Abby doesn't get her own room. She gets a corner. We partitioned off part of our room with a tall wardrobe so it feels like we each have our own space. And really, most importantly, so she doesn't see us and want us to pick her up in the middle of the night. We have had this set up for several months now and had every good intention to make Abby's corner more than just bare walls. We are the slowest decorators on the planet though, mostly because neither of us really have any sort of design talent and we take forever to decide what we like or what would look good.
But finally a couple months ago (again, it takes us a while) we stumbled across an amazing artist who does watercolors. We loved all her work, especially the animals, and she has a beautiful collection of LDS temples. So we picked out several to hang in Abby's corner. And now, at last, her walls are no longer blank!
Our pictures of the pictures really don't look that great, but believe me that it is a huge improvement. And, hopefully soon, those other walls won't be blank either.

I love the pictures! I totally get the whole taking forever to decorate thing. I have pictures that I've been meaning to hang upstairs since around the time we moved in 2 1/2 years ago and I still haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm hoping that with Scott in school now I can get to some of these things I've been putting off. Anyways, I love her little corner!
Cute!
What a cute little space!
