Eric left at the beginning of the month for a ten day trip to China. He went for a conference where he got to present the research he has been working on.
It was mostly work for him, but he did get to do a bit of playing, which we were envious of.
Visiting the White Dagoba
And, best of all, he got to eat some amazing food!
While Eric was gone having a great time, Abby and I kept ourselves busy at home. We went up to visit my parents for a couple days which was nice. Abby loved the dog, and the bike. Both are big favorites of hers.
A little too much loving from the dog
Exploring at a park
Put her in her swimsuit for a dip in the kiddy pool. But she wanted nothing to do with it. It was all about the bike!
Then just a short time later, we were back up at my parents for Thanksgiving. Most of my family was there so that was definitely a good time. The highlight of that trip, though, for Abby was the train ride we took the Saturday after Thanksgiving into LA to visit Chinatown. Abby is pretty much obsessed with trains and so was in heaven, going "Choo choo!" the whole way there.
Reading her train book on the train. Of course no other book would do!
Fun in Chinatown!
There were some other fun outings during the month, and we'll see if I get around to posting anything on those...
A good month, though we sure missed Eric and were so happy to see him come home. Abby wouldn't let go of him for the longest time after we picked him up from the airport. It was adorable!

Looks like y'all have been having fun! I'm so jealous that it was warm enough there to even think about swimming in a kiddie pool! I never expected it to get so cold out here! We're freezing our little tushes off!
